Janet was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and attended St. John's University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree. She worked for several years as an account manager in the computer consulting industry, working directly with the financial institutions throughout Manhattan.
In 1998, an acquaintance mentioned to her that she should become a Realtor, since she was always finding friends and family their dream homes. The realization hit her and she immediately knew it was what she wanted to do.
